On Saturday 18 April 2009 the Belgian-flagged ship POMPEI has been seized by Somali pirates 100 nautical miles off the Seychelles. The ship (IMO 8706583) is a stone dumping vessel that belongs in joint ownership to the Belgian dredging companies De Nul, DEME, Herbosch Kiere and Decloedt. |
